The concept

The key to success
Particularly in the media sector, even the greatest expense and effort can be futile unless they are based on the right concept; but even the best concepts are worthless if they are not implemented professionally.

Close cooperation is essential, and this is why we involve our clients in the development of our concepts right from the start, avoiding unpleasant surprises, so the final result will manifest itself
in our clients’ minds before we even start shooting…

Close coordination helps us to put a definite figure on the cost, time and effort required. The size
of the team and the technology used will be adapted by us specifically to your project. This approach has a positive effect on the costing, and on our offer. GEOVIS doesn’t believe in “top-heavy” operations, i.e. overheads will be restricted to the bare minimum.

To start with
Our initial discussion will concentrate on your requirements and ideas:

  • Your definition of what you would like to achieve with the film.
  • Are production costs a decisive factor?
  • Do you have a high-end media product in mind to open or secure the market for your product?
  • The style of the film: “exciting and upbeat” with brief sequences, fast pan shots and edits,
or “purposely sedate”? Or somewhere in between these two extremes - and where exactly?
  • Do you prefer unusually quiet, floating images or unconventional perspectives (such as steadicam, extreme wide angle, taken from a crane, car, helicopter)?
  • Would you like us to use stock material/footage from our archive?
  • Which sectoral characteristics would you like us to take into account?
  • Have you scheduled live presentations? Will actors be required?
  • Is there a specific period during which you would like us to produce (deadline, trade fair...)?

Based on this discussion, we will draw up our detailed offer and later the script/concept.
